About Me
Vikas Kumar is currently a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Documentation Research and Training Centre (DRTC), Indian Statistical Institute Bangalore. He holds an MS degree in Library and Information Science from DRTC, Indian Statistical Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi. Prior to joining DRTC as JRF, he served as a Library trainee at Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, for nine months and worked as a Librarian at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Hailakandi, Assam for a month.
Teaching Activities
He is taking classes on Digital Library, Research Methodology, Foundation of Information and Communication Technology and Library Automation.

Vikas enjoys discussing and contributing to socio-economic developments in India and World. He plays cricket and badminton. He has been involved in many academic and non-academic assignments.
