Data mining combines artificial intelligence, statistical analysis, and database management systems for extracting knowledge from the data.
The seminar will provide an overview of data mining technology and its processes. It will discuss the core data mining technologies, tools, basic architecture, and applications in various fields. The presentation will also discuss the significance of data mining technology as an emerging library technology for the building of the next-generation library and especially, its direct and indirect impact on library administration and services.
